Pass the NC Real Estate Broker Exam with 311 Practice Questions You Can Study Anywhere

Built by a licensed NC Broker. Every answer explained and tied to NC license law, Commission rules or a core real estate principle.

Why Broker Ready NC

  • 311 NC-specific questions across 9 topics: NC License Law & Commission Rules, Agency, Contracts & Offer to Purchase, Property Ownership & Land Use, Finance & Closing, Real Estate Math, Valuation, Leasing & Property Management, and Fair Housing.
  • Explanations that teach. Every question says why the right answer is right and why the traps are wrong, with a reference.
  • Reviewed by a licensed NC Broker. The questions are original, written in plain language from public law (NCGS 93A, 21 NCAC 58). Nothing is copied from exam providers.
  • Study on any device. Install it on your Android, iPhone, or Windows PC straight from your browser. No app store needed.

Drive Mode: study hands-free

Turn your commute into study time. Pick a topic, press play, and Drive Mode reads each question and its answer choices aloud, pauses so you can think, then reads the answer and explanation. Weak on agency or math? Pick that topic and loop it.

Keep your eyes on the road. Start Drive Mode before you drive.

A seller must net $180,000 after paying a 6% commission and no other costs. What is the minimum sale price?

  1. $190,800
  2. $191,489
  3. $193,200
  4. $189,000
Show the answer

B, $191,489. The seller keeps 94%, so 180,000 ÷ 0.94. Adding 6% to the net is the common wrong move.
